Использование союзов

Вот несколько союзов, которые часто используются в придаточных предложениях:

Когда союз употребляется в придаточном предложении, эта конструкция называется обстоятельственным придаточным предложением.

Вот несколько обстоятельственных придаточных предложений, относящихся ко времени действия:

–After we leave the bank, we'll spend the money.

–When they arrived, they sat down to dinner.

–We haven't seen her since she left.

А вот предложения, которые показывают отношение причины и следствия:

–Since you didn't call, I made other plans.

–He went to bed, because he was tired.

Также можно показать отношение причины и следствия используя such... that и so... that:

–It was such a nice evening that they stayed up too late.

–The lemonade was so cold that she couldn't drink it.
